Manage a Visa Prepaid debit card with Fred Meyer Rewards at Fred Meyer Prepaid Rewards pays back account holders for their purchases. For every dollar spent, card holders earn one reward point, or two if spent in a Fred Meyer store, towards rebates valid at Fred Meyer stores. To start earning rewards, purchase a temporary card from any Fred Meyers store and load it with an initial balance at the check-out register. Holders will be prompted to enter the card number, security code, and verification number appearing on the screen. Users will then be asked to answer several personal questions required by the Federal government to verify the identity of customers, including name, address, and social security number.


Once activated, members can expect a personalized card to arrive in the mail within 10 business days. A personalized version will need to be activated by calling the number located on the back of the card. Users will then be instructed to set up a secure Personal Identification Number, (PIN.) KPF 1-2-3 Rewards

To manage or check on an existing account for a Kroger Personal Finance Visa Prepaid Debit Card with 1-2-3 Rewards, visit Temporary card accounts may be accessed via the “My Temporary Card” tab at the top of the page, or the “Manage your Temporary Account” link farther down the page. Personalized accounts may be accessed via the “My Personalized Card” tab. Temporary card accounts can be monitored for balance and upgraded to personalized cards. Personalized card accounts offer an array of benefits not available to temporary cards, such as the ability to collect and redeem rewards points.

After purchasing a temporary card from a participating retailer and loading it with an initial balance, activate the card by telephone or by visiting and clicking the “Activate Now” link. Enter the 16 digit card number and the 3 digit security code located on the back of the card in the fields provided. Card holders will be directed to fill out additional information to register a unique user ID with password. Account holders with a personal card may skip entering the card number and log in with the user ID and password directly.


Once online, cardholders can check the account balance, any accrued rewards points, and set up direct deposit using the specific account number, which is not the same as the card number. Simply fill out the paper form that was included with the prepaid card in the mail or complete and print a PDF Direct Deposit Authorization form and present it to an employer or government agency to begin depositing wages or benefits directly into the prepaid card account. In addition, personal cards can earn rewards points that can be redeemed for free groceries.

Rewards points earned according to the following:

  • 1 point per dollar spent on all purchases outside the Kroger Family of Stores
  • 2 points per dollar spent on all purchases inside the Kroger Family of Stores
  • 3 points per dollar spent on all purchases of the Kroger Family of Stores Own Brand Products

Once 1,000 rewards points have been obtained, an electronic coupon will be issued to the card, and card holders will be notified of their coupon when they use their KPF prepaid card at check-out at any Kroger store.


A KPF prepaid card can be used anywhere Visa is accepted even though it is not a credit card. Opening an account requires no credit check, and there are no overdraft fees. A small monthly fee of $3.00 is levied to maintain the account, and domestic ATM withdrawals have an associated $2.00 fee. Simply using a KPF prepaid card as a regular debit card incurs no fees, and there are no limits on the number of transactions that can be made with the card.

Log in to your prepaid rewards card account using your 16 digit card number with Locate the card account number box located at the top right-hand corner of the screen, and enter the 16 digit card number located on your card to set up your online account. If you already have an online member account, you can enter your login information in the required box.

Returning cardholder login uses the same 16 digit card number to sign into your online account. Simply enter the card account number at to have complete access and account management. When creating your account you will need to locate the tracking number that is on the back of your card and enter it when prompted. The prepaid rewards Visa card looks like any other credit card and can be used in most situations. However, this rewards card is not accepted at ATMs or at gas pumps.

Where to Use Your Prepaidrewardscenter Card

Although this Visa rewards card appears like any other credit card, it is not usable in all situations. A point-of-sale system is required, therefore you cannot use it at ATMs or gas pumps. When prompted always select the credit option as there is no PIN number assigned to your card. Choose credit, and sign the receipt after you make your purchase. Mail order purchases can also be done using your rewards card.

Please note that faxed or copies of the completed affidavit of fraud form cannot be accepted. Any disputes regarding a lost or stolen card are generally processed within 5 to 7 business days from when the form is received. It can take up to 30 days for the credits to be applied to your card after the form is processed. If a replacement card is necessary, it will be mailed to the address listed on the notarized affidavit of fraud form.
