Manage a DIRECTV Visa Prepaid Card online at www.citiprepaid.com/directv. Prepaid cards make receiving and using a refund easy and convenient. There is no need for a traditional bank account, there are no fees associated with redeeming it, and it’s safe to send through the mail!
Customers are eligible for a refund if they enrolled in a qualifying DIRECTV service between July 1st and October 2nd 2016, or if they have a credit on their account after canceling their service. Once all required documents regarding the refund have been received, DIRECTV will ship a DIRECTV Visa Prepaid Card, issued by Citi Bank, to the name and address used to activate the DIRECTV account. After receiving a card, DIRECTV customers can go to citiprepaid.com/directv to manage their card.
Refunds made easy with CitiPrepaidDirectTV
Customers who wish to use the online management resources must register their card at citi prepaid directv by clicking the “Register your card now” link. This will open a new page and customers must follow the instructions to register, starting by entering the 16-digit number and the security code located on the back. Additional identifying information may be required to prevent unauthorized access. During the registration process, customers will create a username and password that will be used for future visits.

Citi Cash such as the DIRECTV Visa Prepaid are non-reloadable and can only be used in the United States. Additionally, the cards do not have cash access, and thus cannot be used to obtain cash at ATMs or banks. Cards also have an expiration date, and cannot be used after this date.
Refunds take up to 10 working days to process, and disconnected customer refunds may take up to 6 weeks to process. Please ensure the service address and email address associated with the DIRECTV account are accurate to avoid any delays. To update a service address, please call DIRECTV support at 1-800-531-5000. If it has been more than 10 working days since the issuance of the refund, please contact Citi customer service at (877) 855-7201, or at email@example.com. If a balance remains on the card after the expiration date, contact Citi customer service to receive a new one.
