To register a card, go to My RBC Card Balance and enter the prepaid number, last 4 digits of the associated phone number, and the 3-digit security code located on the back. Then, follow the on-screen instructions. Users will need to provide certain identifying information, such as name and address, in order to register the card. Once completed, the card can be used not only at merchants that accept Visa, but also for online or telephone purchases that require a billing address be provided.

Effective July 31, 2015 RBC will no longer offer new RBC Visa Commercial Prepaid Card programs. Existing programs in place will continue to operate, but there may be restrictions applied to new issuances and new loads. Non-reloadable gift cards purchased from an RBC branch are not affected by this change.
